Content Guidelines
What can run on UbiqueAds
All ads are reviewed before going live on any vehicle headrest or surface. Campaigns that fall in restricted categories require additional documentation.
Permitted ad categories
- Consumer goods & FMCGFood, beverages, household products, personal care
- Retail & e-commerceStores, marketplaces, fashion, electronics
- Financial servicesBanks, SACCOs, mobile money, insurance — must be licensed
- Telecom & technologyMobile, internet, SaaS, apps, devices
- Healthcare & wellnessHospitals, clinics, OTC products — no prescription drug claims
- Education & trainingSchools, online courses, certifications, vocational
- Real estateProperty listings, agencies, developments
- Entertainment & mediaFilms, streaming, events, music, gaming
- NGOs & public awarenessHealth campaigns, civic messages, social causes
- Government & public sectorApproved campaigns from public agencies
Not permitted
- Adult contentSexual or suggestive material of any kind
- Weapons & firearmsSales, promotion, or glorification of weapons
- Counterfeit / unverified productsFake goods, unlicensed medicines, supplements with unproven claims
- Illegal or fraudulent servicesPyramid schemes, unlicensed lending, scam offers
- Hate speech & discriminationContent targeting ethnicity, religion, gender, or disability
- Graphic or violent imageryDisturbing visuals, shock advertising
Alcohol, gambling, and licensed pharmaceuticals may be considered on a case-by-case basis with valid regulatory licenses and additional approval from UbiqueAds compliance. All creatives must meet local advertising standards and Kenya's Advertising Standards Committee (ASC) guidelines.
